What We Did:
To secure major widespread media interest in Frontier Services, we used a strong news angle to draw attention to the charity on a national scale, before focusing on local community media re participating in the organisations annual “Great Aussie BBQ” fundraiser.
We proposed focusing on the angle of grey nomads assisting the charity, and pitched the story as an exclusive to the News Corp network before taking it out to wider media. We also worked with case studies of both volunteers and farmers who had benefited from the volunteer program to tell their stories.
Memorable Moments:
- Over a 4 week campaign, we successfully garnered 30 pieces of media coverage, spanning TV, radio, print, online and social media, with a total reach of over 34 Million.
- Coverage included interviews with 2GB's breakfast talk-back show, Sky News, ABC TV, Channel 9 as well as large features in the Sunday Telegraph, Sunday Mail, Courier Mail, Adelaide Advertiser and countless other newspapers across the country.
“Wow, wow, wow! This campaign totally exceeded my expectations. We ended up with new donors and volunteers and so much interest from the media we secured that we struggled to keep up. It was by far the best PR experience I have had in more than 20 years.
